Project: ’12 full ounces’

Today I get to tell everyone about a project I am very excited about.
If you know me, you might know that one of my all time favorite video games is “Maniac Mansion” for the Nintendo Entertainment System. This is one of the first games I ever play in my life, I used to spend hours exploring everything the game had to offer(which was a lot). This is a game I have great memories playing, and still enjoy playing to this day.
As long as I have had the internet, I have surfed and scowled for information on this game. Looking for the history of it, guides to it, mp3s from it. There have been a few good sites that were dedicated to this magnificently odd game, but none that had all the info I wanted an though should be there, or they were set up poorly. And there were no sites at all that focused on the NES version of the game, which is the version I originally played on. Well I am out to solve these problems…

This site is a new fansite for Maniac Mansion for the NES(just NES for now). I have not chosen a domain name yet (looking at Maniacmansionfansite.com maybe) but I hope this site becomes the ultimate Maniac Mansion guide on the web. I have been emailing some other fan sites over content, and we pretty much have everything a go. I am also hoping that this site becomes very community driven. I have already begun setting up the forums an a chat room and Im also looking ways to integrate twitter and other social networks into the site. I also want fan content to be a big. If someone has anything mansion, I want to get it up on the site.
What I have up now is a good blueprint for how I want everything. Over time, the site will fill in with more depth of information, an more overall content.
